Happy Tuesday lovely ones! It’s just 10 days to Christmas, did you catch the Love My Dress team’s ‘Dear Father Christmas’ list on Sunday? I got some great ideas from the other ladies for the few gifts I still need to buy. Today we have a gorgeous floral inspired affair to share with you all. Jessica, a jewellery and accessories designer and Cian an Art director tied the knot on the 10th of July 2015 at The Priory Barn in Little Wymondley, Hertfordshire. They loved the scope of the wooden barn to create a day which was personal to them and they used the surrounding gardens to lay blankets and create a relaxed after dinner atmosphere for their guests.
“We’ve known each other since age 4. We went to kindergarten then school together and grew up together throughout our childhood. We got together as a couple when we were 17 and 18. Cian proposed during a holiday in Thailand, after 12 years together. We got married the next year.”

“We loved the space of the historic Priory Barn as well as the surrounding gardens. We were going for an English country garden party feel, with lots of peonies.”
Jessica chose a beautiful soft lace dress by Dutch Designer Modeca from J S Couture in Marylebone, London. She teamed it with some gorgeous white patent Kurt Geiger strappy shoes. Her loose waves and natural make-up look were courtesy of Riona O’Sullivan.
“I made quite a few changes from the original design of the dress. I loved the overall shape and the full tulle skirt. I love lace and wanted more so I added the lace cap sleeve.
The bride made her own veil and their florist One Flew Over provided some fresh flowers for her hair.
One Flew Over took care of the beautiful floral arrangements which were based around peonies which were also present in the stationery and on the signs around the barn.
“We love peonies, the very pale pink ones, so we had lots of them with other pale pinks and whites – the bouquets had a ‘freshly picked from the garden’ feel.”
A Love My Dress favourite, Jessica chose to wear Jo Malone’s Earl Grey and Cucumber scent on the day.
The bridesmaids all chose their own pale pink dresses and wore flowers in their hair. They all complemented Jessica’s look beautifully. As their bridesmaid gift, she designed a simple rose gold, pave V bar necklace and had one made for each of the 7 ladies.
The couple chose the lovely Natalie J Weddings to photograph their special day.
“Natalie really captured the dreamy, ethereal feel we loved about the day. She did a brilliant job, we love our photographs and we would highly recommend her to anyone.”
“My favourite moment of the day was walking down the aisle with my dad to Pachelbel’s Canon played by a live classical trio and seeing Cian waiting for me at the end.”
“Two of our bridesmaids, who are sisters sang us a song with their dad and a guitar during the ceremony, it was so beautiful and made me cry. Another bridesmaid Jade read ‘Look to this day’ as the second reading and this made Jade cry even more than me!”
Cian’s blue suit was chosen from Taliare and paired it with a tie from Drakes.
All of the calligraphy was written by Cian’s sister Cara and the wedding favours were Green & Blacks chocolates which were re-wrapped in a new wrapper with a peony picture designed by Jessica.
“My lovely bridesmaid Jodie made a delicious three tiered butter cream dream cake.”

What a lovely English Garden wedding. The colour of the bridesmaid dresses and the simple flowers and decorations really compliment the beautiful barn setting. Gorgeous!
Beautiful wedding thanks for sharing!
