Good afternoon darlings – have you had a chance to read this brilliantly written discussion post this morning? We’re sharing two posts today and this is our second and it gives me great delight to be dedicating our blog this afternoon over to bridal headpiece designer, Jannie Baltzer.
These beautiful, almost sculptural headpieces are each hand-made by Jannie Baltzer herself at her Copenhagen based studio. We recently shared Jannie’s brand new mainline collection for 2016, but these designs form part of Jannie’s new ‘Wild Nature’ collection which is launching exclusively here on Love My Dress today and is available to purchase immediately over on janniebaltzer.com.

In her gorgeous new collection, Jannie uses a wonderful combination of findings from nature and the wild, all finished with hand beaded guipure lace, freshwater pearls and Preciosa crystals. The result is a refined collection of striking statement pieces.
What I love about Jannie’s pieces (and I’ve been fan of her work since starting out with Love My Dress in 2009) is her ability to create a lovely balance between the rustic and delicate. Each of Jannie’s designs are delicately hand painted with antique gold to provide a sense of ornamental, a touch of opulence and luxury.
Having always been inspired by nature and the natural world, Jannie loves the challenge of transforming the very best that nature has to offer into truly unique designs. I’ve always felt that her headpieces would make the most sublime of heirloom pieces to pass down through family members, what about you?
