One of the joys of my job is getting to know the talented, creative and downright brilliant suppliers that make up the wedding industry. However, when the focus of the piece is someone I’ve known for a while, my heart skips a beat. The wonderful designer Katya Katya Shehurina is definitely high on my list of those I just adore writing about because I am an out-and-out fan of these beautiful wedding dresses (see here, here and here for proof of my love!).

Katya Shehurina started designing wedding gowns when huge numbers of her evening wear clients begged her to branch out into the bridal world. Since designing those first gowns, Katya Katya Shehurina has grown and grown and her elegant and carefree gowns really are something special.

I am just so in love with the designs from the Flowers of The Valley 2016/2017 collection, I don’t know where to start! The gypsy fringing, the lace, the open backs and tiered skirts are just some of the design features I adore. Then we’ve got the gorgeous sleeves, the incredible skirts and the unique design details that are simply sublime. My goodness, there’s an awful lot to love.

If you’re in a hurry, Katya Katya Shehurina can make your gown in 6-8 weeks. There’s a 20% charge for the Express Service on top of the gown’s price but that might be a small price to pay. At the other end of the scale, if you order your gown 10 or more months before your wedding, you’re entitled to an Early Love Bird Special discount of 10% off the original price of your chosen design.
