Well pinch punch, first day of the month! Can you believe that we’re into August already? I know I can’t but, now that we are, I can say with great excitement that Brides The Show starts NEXT month! Yes it’s true because, as the super glam first night takes place on 30th September, it’s really not that long at all to wait until the doors open on this amazingly stylish event.

Today, we’re going to take a look at the brilliant and beautiful bridal fashion that’s going to be at Brides The Show as well as looking forward to this year’s edition of the now legendary catwalk show…

This autumn, Brides The Show is bringing not just one but two fantastic bridal fashion catwalk shows to London and I for one cannot wait. Both shows not only give you the chance to get up close and personal to the latest gowns from your favourite designers, you can also discover new labels and enjoy the atmosphere that only a stunning runway show provides. If you’re visiting Brides The Show you absolutely have to take your seat on the front row.

For the opening show on Friday’s preview night, visitors will be treated to a slice of New York Bridal Week in the heart of London as, for one night only, the exclusive Americas catwalk features seven fabulous U.S. designers.

The latest wedding dresses from Monique Lhuillier, Mira Zwillinger, Galia Lahav, Romona Keveza, Tony Ward, Elizabeth Fillmore and Ines Di Santo are all coming to Brides The Show, a prospect that should see you booking your Friday night preview tickets right now! This catwalk will be set in a very special gallery theatre and this beautiful new space will be designed and styled exclusively by the Brides magazine team. What a treat to kick off the show!

After you’ve taken a look at America, Brides The Show will bid you a warm ‘Welcome To The Circus’ and, if the Brides The Show catwalks of previous editions are anything to go by, this promises to be something very special indeed. Think of the faded romance of travelling circuses of the 1930s, acrobats and performers and a touch of glamour from the era’s style icons. Expect hints of sassy showgirls and silver-screen legends plus tutus, ruffles and lots of thrills.

The Brides The Show team will handpick amazing wedding gowns from the likes of Andrea Hawkes, Halfpenny London, Charlie Brear, Sanyukta Shrestha, Katya Katya Shehurina, Suzanne Neville, Catherine Deane Bridal and Stephanie Allin to name but a few and there’ll also be plenty for bridesmaids to swoon over thanks to Maids to Measure, twobirds and Nicki Macfarlane. The full cast list reads like a who’s who of bridal fashion and you can check it out here.

Of course, away from the catwalk, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the stands of the designers themselves and chat to the teams involved about your dream dress. There’s no doubt that this, for many brides, is one of the very best bits of the Brides The Show. You’re able to see all the gowns that you’ve glimpsed online or in Brides magazine for yourself in glorious and gorgeous detail and I have no doubt that you’ll come away inspired.
