The 2018 Preview Collections From Pronovias

This feature is for all of you currently on the search for your wedding dress – I’ve got something rather special for you. We’re excited to be sharing the brand new 2018 preview collections from Pronovias with you today – I can promise you that you’re in for a rather delicious treat.

At the end of last month, Pronovias debuted the 2018 preview collections from their Atelier Pronovias and Pronovias labels in Barcelona. Designed by the brand’s Creative Director, Herve Moreau, these new gowns showcase the most delicate designs in the finest fabrics that are all finished with the most exquisite details. Heaven indeed…

I’ve written before about the Atelier Pronovias and Pronovias bridal collections and this little sneak peek of the brilliance that’s to come in the full 2018 collections is simply wonderful. Across all of the gowns, the utmost attention has been paid to even the tiniest detail and it’s fair to say that these new collections are something of a triumph.

So, what awaits lucky brides in the 2018 preview collections? The answer, dear readers, is everything to make your heart sing…

For 2018, Pronovias has opted to use lots of crepe to create a fabulous draped effect. This brings more movement into the dresses themselves and that’s not all because by using brocade crepe for the first time ever, Atelier Pronovias has been able to create designs with truly visually unique characteristics.

There are also fabrics worked into ‘micro drapes’ in the Atelier Pronovias designs – chiffon, soft satin, organza and delicious silk Mikado. However for me, the star of the show has to be the gemstone embroideries that cover the entire bodice of some designs.

Atelier Pronovias have also totally revitalised the classic mermaid style and have put a modern spin on the proportions in these designs. Exaggerated slits at the leg, eye-catching necklines and accentuated backs all bring a really current, fashion-forward look to the dresses.

Thanks to the new interior corsets that feature in the 2018 preview collection from Atelier Pronovias, necklines are super sensual. Draped sleeves and camisoles have been incorporated into the most romantic designs that ooze femininity.

I’m also a big fan of the new convertible dresses on show in the Atelier Pronovias preview collection. Pronovias have built on the success of their ‘transformable’ dresses and the new collection features removable cape veils and overskirts, both of which open a whole new range of possibilities for you to personalise your wedding day look.

There’s also lots to love in the Pronovias collection – plunging backs that show off a little skin totally work the ‘barely there’ trend and I love that Pronovias have re-invented their signature lace with large floral motifs. The delicate gemstone collars and crystal tulle bring on the sparkle and the effects that these create are just astonishing.

In both collections, you’ll also see a gorgeous new colour palette that’s centred on optical whites that are adorned with metallic and gold details for more than a hint of luxury and sophistication.

The 2018 preview collections from Pronovias are pure bliss and I can’t wait to see the delights that I just know are going to be in the full collections. I don’t know about you but I’m more than a little bit impatient.
