Introducing Studio St. Patrick, by Pronovias

Well hello hello and how the devil are you today? I have to admit that I was feeling pretty perky before I started writing this feature and now I’m definitely in a good mood!

I’m so thrilled to introduce you to Studio St. Patrick, a brand new label from the Pronovias group and to showcase the designs that debuted at the world-renowned Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week just last month. So, without further ado, let’s take a look…

The St. Patrick label began back in 1964 in front of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City when the president of the Pronovias group suggested to his son that he start his own bridal label. Since then, St. Patrick has gone from strength to strength and you’ll find their collections in almost one hundred countries around the globe.

Studio St. Patrick is a whole new concept so if you’re looking for on-trend design, exquisite detailing and immaculate craftsmanship in your wedding dress then you need look no further.

The 2018 Studio St. Patrick collection has been painstakingly designed and there’s a gorgeous mix of softness and sophistication running right through the range.

So, what are the standout features in this collection? Well, you’ll definitely notice the simple lines of the mermaid silhouette plus the contrasting style of the princess gowns with their beautifully voluminous skirts. Daring necklines and plunging backs (my faves!) give an on-trend twist to the designs that I just love.

If you’re a fan of fabrics then you’re also in luck. It was super evident on the catwalk how well the dresses move and this lightness is achieved thanks to an amazing mix of fabrics. Lace, crepe and Chantilly combine with tulle, thread embroidery and gemstones but my romantic side adores the Mikado silk and guipere too. I also have to mention the crystal tulle that creates a kind of visual special effect with its floaty transparency.

Pure white is another signature touch but there are plenty of embroideries and accents to give depth and interest too. Overskirts, long capes and a wide variety of appliques stand out for me here and I have to say that Studio St. Patrick has achieved its aim of creating a collection that even the most demanding bride will fall in love with.

As I mentioned, the collection was revealed at the recent bridal fashion shows in Barcelona and, if you’re in the wedding world, this is THE place to be seen. There were famous faces aplenty on the front row and it was pretty clear that everyone loved this meticulously designed collection.

And now, you’ll be able to get up close and personal with these stunning new designs because the 2018 Studio St. Patrick collection will be arriving with retailers in July.

There are no photos with those IDs or post 681458 does not have any attached images!

Now there’s a summertime treat right there.
