Eleganza Sposa has been at the forefront of bridal style in Scotland for the last 25 years. From their boutique in the heart of Glasgow, just off Blythswood Square, the team welcomes brides from around the world into this beautiful, super luxe showroom. Eleganza Sposa was born from a true love of all things bridal. In the early 1990s, when holidaying in Southern Italy, Dr Anna Cirignaco visited a bridal atelier and was absolutely mesmerized by what was on offer and her life changed.

“The dresses were completely different to those that were on offer in the UK,” says Anna. “On my return, I decided to take a chance and open a small boutique with the gowns that I’d seen in Italy. This risky decision paved the way to creating Eleganza Sposa as it’s known today – as Scotland’s leading luxury boutique.”

And to this day, Eleganza Sposa looks to Italy for its signature style: L’arte del vestire, the art of dressing. Beautiful fabrics and fantastic cuts, all inspired by this Italian philosophy, are the basis of the luxurious, couture wedding gowns that Eleganza are renowned for. All of the gowns have that haute couture feel with exceptional craftsmanship and design combining to create the most wonderful dresses.

“We’re inspired by our love of well made bridal gowns and we take even more from luxury fashion houses from around the globe. We look to all forms of art for inspiration in our designs, gowns and even the layout of our store. Eleganza Sposa is an exclusive stockist of many of the world’s leading bridal designers and oh my goodness, all of the gowns are just perfection with intricate details aplenty.

I just love the mix of designers on offer – Jesus Peiro rubs shoulders with Yolan Cris while designs from Tarik Ediz, Suzanne Neville, Essence of Australia and the boutique’s own label, Eleganza Iconica, give you so much choice. I have to say that I’m totally smitten with ‘Silvana’ from Eleganza’s own collection. Honestly, take a look at this hand-beaded gown with a divine illusion neckline and you’ll totally see what I mean.
