So I’m breaking in to your normal schedule today with some exciting news for anyone and everyone who can make it to Edinburgh in a few weeks time. Sunday 22nd October will see All About Love Bridal Market open its doors and my goodness, it’s going to be a fabulous afternoon.
Take a peek at the details below, clear your diary and get set for something very special indeed. All About Love is a going to be your dream of a boutique wedding fair. Set in the heart of Edinburgh at Hill Street Design House, it’s a move away from the traditional (and, dare I say it, slightly uninspiring) set up that never quite gives you what you want. This is going to be a relaxed and intimate space overflowing with talent and passion so that you can find unique inspiration for your wedding.
As I mentioned, All About Love is taking place at Hill Street Design House, a stunning Georgian townhouse where many of the exhibitors are based. It’s one of Edinburgh’s new creative spaces at the centre of the city in the historic New Town. Hill Street Design house is easily accessible and the space was chosen to get your creative juices flowing!
Scottish industry legends Rowan Maginnis of RowanJoy and photographer Caro Weiss have personally curated the supplier list from amongst the best and the brightest of Scotland’s local independent and alternative wedding scene.
All About Love suppliers have been carefully chosen for their vision and contemporary style and as most have collaborated with Rowan and Caro before, you can be sure you’re just going to click with them from the word go.
And the suppliers have got LOTS to show you. You’ll probably have noticed just from the pages of Love My Dress of late that it’s the time of year for new collections and lots of the suppliers at All About Love are showcasing their latest work.
Jewellers Alison Macleod and Moira Patience will both be debuting new designs. Alison will be showing 20 fresh designs (including several one-of-a-kind engagement rings, I swoon) and Moira is debuting her ‘ready to wear’ series of trilogy engagement rings, made using ethically sourced gemstones set into precious metals.
In fact, wherever you are with your wedding planning, you’ll find plenty of brilliant suppliers sharing amazing products and services. Paper Arrow Press will have three new stationery collections on display and Morgan & Rose Photography will be sharing a new line of luxury albums from their manufacturer for the first time.

If you adore vintage fashion then Those Were The Days Bridal will be one hand with some vintage gowns, newly sourced from New York including a stunning rare 1920s lace gown with matching headpiece. This alone is worth a trip to All About Love in my opinion but there’s more. RowanJoy’s brand new Snowdrop dress featuring 3D embellished ivory lace draped over pale green silk is, quite frankly, not to be missed.
Joining All About Love on the day will also be The Red Bus, Scotland’s vintage piece of London transport, who’ll be parked right outside. You can just hop onboard and chat to the conductor and, in all likelihood, fall in love with the idea of using the bus on your big day!
With photographers, makeup artists, stationers, accessory designers and many more completing the supplier list at All About Love, it really is sure to be an essential event for discerning couples who’d like an extraordinary wedding. And that’s you right?
