OK lovely readers, let’s kickback for a moment and give ourselves something to smile about at the start of the week. We all deserve a treat don’t we so forget whatever you’re doing (or whatever you should be doing!) for a little while and enjoy this look at another gorgeous new collection. Today, it’s a joy to showcase the 2018 La Sposa Collection by St. Patrick so let’s take a minute to indulge together.

The St. Patrick label is part of the glorious Pronovias Fashion Group and you’ll find their beautifully fitting, fabulously made wedding dresses at stockists in more than 90 countries all over the world. If you’d describe yourself as a romantic bride, then the La Sposa Collection will be your idea of heaven. Heavenly tulle and organza combine with thread and gemstone embroideries and for me, this combination of fabric and embellishment is so so perfect.

I also love the V-necks, bare backs and sweetheart necklines on these gowns, especially when they’re combined with super elegant veils. This marriage of the traditional, the modern, the elegant and the modern is simply fantastic.

Let’s take a look at some of the brand new standout designs then shall we? If you’re dreaming of a dress that’s elegant and sensual, Pratima could well be the gown for you. The mermaid design with its low flared skirt really enhances your figure and absolutely makes the most of all of your curves. The deep V-neck and low back are just divine. Take a look at the tulle, the lace, the beaded appliques and the oooh, those long sleeves.

Another favourite just has to be Palma. It’s romantic yet perfect for a bride who wants to be different and make a statement. Another mermaid design featuring lace and tulle, it combines two definite looks – a high neckline and delightful illusion back. Plus, we should talk about the thigh high split on the skirt because it really does elevate this design to a whole new level.

Penelope is quite a modern icon. I love the two-piece effect on this dress – the lacy sheerness of the bodice (with an on-trend bateau neckline) combined with the full tulle skirt is pretty much everything. If you love the design but don’t feel totally comfortable with the sheer bodice, don’t worry because you can wear it with a detachable lining.

However, Prospera has to be my absolute favourite. I absolutely adore the heavy skirt with its pleat, pockets and super cute bow detail at the waist. Team this with that marvellous bodice and you’ve got an incredibly special design. Embroidered lace, an incredibly flattering bateau neckline and an absolutely stunning illusion back really make me happy. I can’t stop looking at that skirt, it is just heaven.
