Graceful & Powerfully Feminine – The Atelier Pronovias 2018 Collection

Hello again and we can officially now say it’s less than two weeks until Christmas! I don’t know about you but I’m getting increasingly excited about the impending festivities. That said, today’s feature has actually stopped me obsessing about the holidays for a little while because, well, you’ll see what I mean. It’s time to reveal the Atelier Pronovias 2018 Collection in all its glory and glory really is the right word…

Atelier Pronovias is the haute couture label from bridal fashion house Pronovias. The line is known for fabulous embellishments, delicious silhouettes and the new collection is a stunning take on some of the upcoming bridal trends that we’re all going to fall for during the coming year.

When this collection debuted at New York Bridal Fashion Week earlier this year, I was full of praise for these gowns. I absolutely love the fact that the designs in the collection are so diverse. There’s no ‘standard’ look, each dress is truly individual and I absolutely applaud this. I’m in love with the crazily voluminous gowns and who couldn’t notice those slinky mermaid cuts? The entire collection is graceful, powerfully feminine and just a little bit sexy too. What a combination!

So, let’s look at the gowns themselves shall we? Firstly, we all know we’re smitten with shoulders right now. Whether you’ve embraced the cold shoulder trend, the Bardot neckline or if you’re simply a fan of the off-the-shoulder look, there’s no denying the fact that shoulders really have to been seen.

The Royal gown brings a sensual neckline to this standout design and my goodness; this is a dress for a bride looking to make a statement. Think crystal tulle back, finely beaded long sleeves and geometric beading – wow!

Another dress that’s all about the neckline is Runis. This design puts a whole new spin on the traditional sweetheart neckline thanks to the additional of a deep slender V with crystal tulle. Again, this look totally highlights your shoulders and, thanks to the bare back and sparkly beading, you know that you’re going to be the centre of attention in this.

Now I’ve written before about my love affair with deep V-neck dresses so Riada is one of my new favourites. It’s super flattering for brides with smaller chests and it’s a strong, striking look. However, Riada combines this dramatic neckline with a soft flared chiffon skirt that’s so romantic and delicate. I just adore the combination of styles in this one dress.

Atelier Pronovias has, as I’ve said before, been incredibly brave with some of the designs in this collection. For example, the Rierol gown comes with super suggestive side openings. These are rather revealing without actually revealing anything at all which actually make the design even more suggestive! There’s lace and beading on this low-waisted mermaid dress with flashes of skin at the sides.

I also love the bateau neckline on Rua but it’s the back of this dress that really makes the statement. From the front, it’s a sophisticated dress but when viewed from behind, it’s all about the illusion – just check out the lace on this dress, it’s insanely beautiful.

Lastly, I just have to mention Rocio because if you look through the collection, you can’t miss this gown. All over illusion lace (yep, ALL over!), crystal tulle, embroidered thread flowers and a really figure-hugging silhouette makes this a dress for the bravest brides around…
