Last week, I introduced our new (and regular) readers to the wonders of Prezola – pop along to catch up on this post if you missed it.
This week, I’d like to share with you some of my favourite picks from the Prezola website. These are but a tiny selection of the items I lust after from Prezola, I could sit here all day creating two thousand mile long list if you let me 🙂 But in the interest of giving you a ‘teaser’, here we go. These items are in no particular order by the way, though I have to say, my favourites are the Ali&Co pieces.
I discovered Ali&Co at the Prezola event I attended in December (more on that here), which is where I also fell in love with this sweet little cereamic water jug and cereal bowls and these delicious mohair blankets. I adore having a plethora of blankets around the house at this time of year. I’m genuinely sat like a little Grannie with one now across my knees (I have no shame admitting this to you……!). Winter is cold, folks and blankets are my crack.
Another favourite perhaps my favourite item in my Prezola January edit list is the Christy bed set (we are frankly desperate for some new bedding) and the gorgeous Graham & Green throw. I think, by the way, that you might spot the revealing of a pink in images below. This was entirely unintentional, I assure you, but serves as a reminder how much I’m adoring this hue in all it’s subtle shades right now (you can keep your garish Pantone Colour of the year, thank you very much!).
I much prefer muted, gentler shades, which is perhaps why I love the Karla armchair design by Swoon Editions. This gorgeous mid-century inspired design would look beautiful in our living room (or our bedroom) – with a splash of modern, contemporary (muted!) colour added through the addition of this gorgeous Bluebellgray cushion (I’m a huge Bluebellgray fan and already own several of her soft furnishing pieces). And next to this little reading corner I’ve just created for myself would of course, be an antiqued brass floorlamp and pink velvet stool to rest my books on, a nearby and stylish brass wall clock, and, for when you come to visit, a floor cushion along with a coffee press and Soho House teapot (get the kettle on!).
Now, I struggled whether to add this or not, but have chosen to go for it. Over the weekend, I published this feature over on our new lifestyle blog, A Life Loved, through which, I talked about why I’m making our bedroom a screen-free area, in an effort to escape the 24/7 grip of social media. So why, you wonder, might I want to bring yet another tech gadget into our home? Well, honestly, it’s because it’s an alternative way of being able to play Spotify or check a weather forecast without having to pick up my phone (which would inevitably draw me into checking Instagram every 5 seconds…..). Having given it some thought, I think the new Google Home could actually be a sensible solution. Thoughts?
My final item is the this glass pumpkin lamp just because I think it’s so pretty.
What will you be choosing?
Happy gift listing lovelies,
Annabel x
