On 14 August 2021 Kereen, a marketing specialist, married Investment Banker Akin, at the Old Marylebone Town Hall, celebrating afterwards with an intimate, dinner party reception at Skye Gyngell’s restaurant Spring at Somerset House.

These beautiful images capture all kinds of wonderful contemporary, city wedding feels, which the couple’s minimalist, chic and effortlessly elegant style suited perfectly. Kereen wore an exquisite silk halterneck gown by Galvan London – a chic and simple design that beautifully captures her personal style.

Kereen wore her hair swept up in a relaxed but elegant chignon. Her make-up was applied by Zakiyah Shani and she wore scent from Miss Dior by Dior.

The bride’s exquisite, halter-neck gown was a glamorous Galvan London design.

“I purchased my dress online in January 2021 after having to cancel all in-person wedding dress appointments. Galvan were kind enough to send me the dress to try on, with the option of just paying for return shipping if I did not like it.”

“I loved it so ended up paying for the dress.”

Kereen’s high, strappy sandals were from Pretty Little Thing and for the day,

The bride travelled to Old Marylebone Town Hall with her best friend, who wore a divine green puff sleeve dress.

Akin donned a smartly-cut, blue suit from Suit Supply, worn with a pale gold waistcoat and lighter blue tie. His fragrance was Tom Ford.

“We met at Akin’s sister’s birthday party where I was a guest via a mutual friend.|

After dating for six years, Akin proposed in Vietnam after backpacking across China and Cambodia. Kereen

Kereen was accompanied into the beautiful ceremony room by her brother. The two were accompanied by the sound of ‘Bluebird’ by Alexis Ffrench.

Kereen and Akin were then married by the Town Hall registrar.

Akin’s mother read ‘The Marriage Creed’ during the ceremony and the couple exchanged rings from Cartier.

After the ceremony, the newly-weds and their guests headed to Spring at Somerset House for an intimate wedding dinner, hosted around one big table.

“Our cake was made by the venue’s pastry chef.”

“We loved our day and all the lessons it taught us in planning it.”
