    We’re thrilled to welcome you to The List! Below, you’ll find the terms of our partnership, designed to ensure a clear and enjoyable experience for both of us. By submitting your details, you’re confirming your agreement to these terms. If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to email us at [email protected] — we’re always happy to help.

    1. LISTING PERIOD & RENEWAL: Your listing commences as soon as it is activated and continues for a full 12 months. Upon expiration, the listing will automatically renew for the same duration unless we receive notice from you to discontinue. Please inform us via email at [email protected] at least 30 days prior to your renewal date if you wish to cancel.

    2. PAYMENTS & FEES: Please make your payment on receipt of your initial invoice. Keep in mind, payments are non-refundable, and if payments are late, we might have to pause or stop your listing.

    3. MANAGING YOUR LISTING: You’ll have the freedom to access and update your listing to keep it fresh and reflective of your current offerings. That said, we reserve the right to make edits and updates to your listing, too. This is just to ensure that all content aligns with our aesthetic and ethos, keeping the directory beautiful and cohesive for everyone. Don’t worry, we’ll always handle your listing with care and stay true to your brand.

    4. SUPPORTING EVERYONE: It is important to us that in joining, you commit to supporting everyone, no matter their background, culture, race, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

    5. LOOKING AFTER YOUR DATA: Any personal data you share with us will be treated with the utmost care, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our Privacy Policy has all the details on how we protect your information.

    6. LIMITING OUR LIABILITY: We promise to do our best, but there are limits to what we can be held responsible for. We won’t be liable for indirect or unexpected issues that arise from using our directory, except where the law says otherwise.

    7. SOLVING DISPUTES: If we ever find ourselves in a disagreement, let’s try talking it out or going through mediation first. If that doesn’t work, we’ll look to arbitration as outlined in the Arbitration Act 1996 before thinking about legal action.

    8. THE LEGAL STUFF: Our agreement is based on the laws of England and Wales, which is where any legal matters would be handled.

    9. MAKING CHANGES: From time to time, we might need to update these terms. We’ll let you know when we do, either on our site or by email. If you keep using the directory after we make changes, that means you’re okay with the new terms.

    10. BESPOKE AGREEMENTS: We recognise that some situations, like group bookings, call for bespoke agreements. If this applies to you, we’ll work together to document a custom arrangement that complements these terms. All bespoke agreements will be finalised before listings go live, and continue to be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
