Bruach Cashmere create ethical wedding shawls using circular, sustainable fashion production.

We are a small team, the life blood of which is made up of six incredibly talented artisan designers, who produce everything using the rare ‘hand intarsia’ method – a traditional heritage skill founded and located only within the Scottish borders. We are the only six remaining artisans in the world to use this precious handcrafted knitwear technique. Our team have produced for all the major couture fashion houses in the world.

We have created a collection of the softest most luxurious and ethically produced shawls and wraps to keep brides warm and stylish on their wedding day, though we consider our designs to be a lifetime investment.

We are committed to responsible, sustainable and ethical garment production. We use ReVerso™ pure, virgin cashmere yarn to provide quality and patterns that a knitting machine simply cannot achieve. We are also proud that we can operate via a fully transparent and traceable supply chain. Our ethical commitment is the antithesis of today’s disposable and fast fashion world. By targeting zero waste, and reducing water, energy and C02 consumption in the production process, the resulting cashmere product has a truly circular product life cycle.

Our designs are carefully placed into 100% biodegradable packaging that can be kept as stylish storage box for your precious cashmere, or popped on your compost heap, causing no harm or chemical damage to the natural environment.

We’d dearly love to hear from Love My Dress brides – be you looking for a special wrap to wear yourself on your wedding day, or something beautiful and ethical to gift your bridesmaids, mum and other guests.
