I recently blogged about a beautiful vintage lovin newlywed, Vicky, who created her very own stunning 1920's inspired wedding.
Well, it turns out this vintage loving Gal truly is bursting at the seams with love for the a by-gone era for she actually has her very own and quite impressive Vintage Tea Set business – which I'm chomping on the bit to tell you all about.
Vintage Tea Sets specialise in the hire and styling of antique and vintage tableware that dates from the 1820's up to the 1950's – so, absolutely perfect for anyone looking to style their own vintage themed wedding or event.
Vicky's collection of tea-sets is of exceptional qulaity and so extensive, that she can hire to events of 400+ people.
Vicky's obsession with vintage started when she was a little girl. She began collecting from antique fairs on family days out and, at one stage, it was tea pots. She recalls a strange metal clad tea pot which she later discovered to be art-deco, and her passion was born.
Some of Vicky's most cherished childhood memories are of her Grandmothers tea parties and her beautiful Victorian tea set.

When her Grandmothers tea set eventually passed to Vicky, it sparked a passionate interest in fine vintage china. Seeking it out from sales and auctions, Vicky soon became an avid collector.
As well as providing the beautiful cups and saucers, Vicky also provides a catering service, that includes a mouth-watering selection of cakes, and full-afternoon tea service (working with specialist caterers to meet client requirements & providing menu suggestions), silver service, together with styling, set-up and set-down. Take a peek…
Whilst Vicky is based in Bristol, she will deliver nationwide. Packaging, delivery & collection within a 20 mile radius of Bristol is charged at £40 (£20 each way). Hire fees seem extremely reasonable too, eg, £2.00 for a cup and saucer (each), £4.50 per teapot, with Gravy boats, Tureens, Punch Bowls, Ornate Silver Sugar Tongs, Cake Stands and more for hire. You can learn more about Vicky's rates and Terms & Conditions here.
Vicky is quite clearly tea obsessed and even provides a history of tea in Britain, on her lovely website. There will be other vintage tea set hire businesses around, but I doubt very much you'll find one as extensive as Vicky's, or anyone as passionate about her crockery as this china girl.
