As soon as I saw these fabulous photographs, shot by my own Wedding Photographer, Karen McGowran and Julie Tinton, I fell in love with them. I think Bride Jane chose *the* most perfect dress for her wedding day, and after seeing her in this beautiful Hollywood Dreams ensemble called 'Ophelia', purchased from Exclusively Yours, I just can't imagine seeing Jane in any other kind of bridal gown...
"I love this dress far too much for words. It is just very 'me'. I
love that it is unmissably and truly red. I love that it makes me feel
like Shall We Dance from the King And I."

Jane and Gareth married on 20th February this year at Rushpool Hall Hotel in Saltburn-by-the-Sea.
"We booked the venue a few weeks before Gareth proposed. I was also
at a nicely rounded stage of pregnancy, ahh the romance! Due to the
imminent arrival of our final child the wedding planning seemed to
happen in fits and starts. So I found that every time I came back to
the wedding plans my ideas had maybe changed slightly or I had found
something new that I wanted to include, this didn't give the consistent
feel that I would have maybe preferred but more of a collection of
things that made me think 'woo, love it'."
Jane's Bridesmaid wore a gorgeous Alfred Angelo number in navy blue...
Pretty Little Flower Girls...
Jane's gorgeous Daughters were Flowergirls and Jane's own Aunty Linda made their beautiful dresses...
The flowers were Cymbidium Orchids...
"With a red dress I found the options limited. Florists seemed surprisingly unadventurous and seemed to only be able to suggest ivory roses. So I went with orchids that had a similar colour in their centre to my dress. I also chose artificial flowers as I wanted to wear flowers in my hair and was advised artificial more practical. This way I got to preserve my bouquet and could have them delivered before my wedding day."
Gareth's suite was hired from Grabhams in Stockton-on-Tees...
"I think we are a traditional kind of couple with unusual touches, so that seemed the right approach for our wedding. For instance I found some of the wedding traditions too archaic for my tastes; My mum walked me down the aisle, but did not give me away. I feel I am not a possession to be given or received. Besides which, my mum couldn't give me away as I didn't intend going anywhere!"
"Intending to spend lots on a platinum band,
we actually ended up spending a full £40 on a Titanium band, that
Gareth luckily preferred! For the bride a platinum band to match engagement ring from The Beautiful Company..."
Jane's fabulous shoes were 'Edna', by Irregular Choice...
"The cake was made by a family friend who makes cakes as a hobby/part time business. We intentionally chose a cake that did not look 'weddingy'! We wanted something that would stand out and that people would remember. Most of all, we saw the colours and went Wooooooo!"
Family Love...
"We wanted our wedding to be a real celebration. We were not only celebrating our wedding day but our marriage and us coming together as a family..."
"I gave the first speech, not because I wanted to but because I do not hold with a tradition that seems to involve the women sitting silently and demurely while the men do the talking for them..."
Beautiful, just beautiful. Thank you so much Jane - we wish you and Husband Gareth a beautifully long and happily married life together :)
Thanks also to your Photographers Karen McGowran and Julie Tinton for the stunning photoraphy.
♥

It's an amazing dress isn't it? And suited Jane down to the ground....she looked simply stunning. From a photographers point of view Jane was great to photograph as she was relaxed, full of life and of course totally in love with her groom!!

What Karen and Julie did to showcase the dress within our chosen venue at Rushpool Hall was exceptional. The light snow on some of our shots really made the dress stand out. We are truly lost for words on how great our day was represented in pictures. Our special day was great to share with everyone present. We put this down to the fantastic people we had at it. Can we do it again? :D
