Bridal Fashion Shoot – Dreamy, Vintage Inspired, Friday Inspiration…

I love to hear from Photographers who have been inspired by the Love My Dress Wedding Blog.

A
couple of week's back, I received an email from Stefanie Cousineau, a
young photographer from Montreal, now living in Germany and working under the brand name 'Gasoline Photography', who describes
her work as 'dreamy, with a vintage twist, an alternative side and an editorial edge'.

"I
try to tell something about the people I shoot; to break into them and
seek what's there; to play with their contrasts and contradictions; and,
in the end of the process, create some awesome pictures.
I discovered the Love My Dress Wedding Blog through Photographer Emma CaseThrough the beauty of online social networking and the help of Etsy, I got in
touch at the beginning of the summer with Susan from Shogold Jewellery
,
a colombian jewellry designer who also lives, in Germany.
We worked on a bridal inspired fashion/editorial photoshoot.

The biggest challenge was to find the wedding gowns or some long, chic and glamorous dresses. No designer replied to me and I couldn't seem to find anyone. Susan of Shogold Jewellery saved the day by bringing her own amazingly gorgeous (and HUGE!) Oleg Cassini's wedding dress (you know, Jackie Kennedy's famous designer!), as well as a sweet and modest cream long dress borrowed from her neighbor. We were in business!  The shooting took place in Villa Hügel's gardens on the 8th of August 2010…"

I love these images and hope they provide some inspiration for my readers – be they Photographers or Brides looking into a post-wedding shoot to 'rock' that dress! 🙂
