Whimsical and Quirky Afternoon Tea Shoot, with Cotton Candy Weddings and The Tea Party…

Shortly before Christmas, I had the good fortune of stumbling upon a duo of Photographers that go by the name of Cotton Candy Weddings; two females who are absolutely passionate about vintage inspired wedding photography.  I dropped the girls a quick note and received a swift reply back – turns out they, that's Gemma and Philippa, already followed Love My Dress. Hooray! I could sense a nice friendship developing already 🙂

And then I discovered the girls love tea just about as much as I do and that they were recently involved in a photoshoot that involved afternoon tea and plenty of cakes.  Perfecatamundo!  I just love the whimsical nature of this photoshoot and how it seems to capture the love the English have for their tea! Crikey, I am obsessed by the stuff and simply cannot blog unless I have a pot of tea beside me (Yorkshire Tea, always).  My Husband brought me a pretty antique china tea cup, saucer and side plate for Christmas – they make the perfect blogging companions.

Gemma explained how this fun photoshoot came about – what fab inspirational images for any Bride to be planning an afternoon tea party for her hens, or a whimsical style tea party for her wedding day…

"We were hired by the quirky and original The Tea Party to photograph their beautiful and unique selection of vintage china crockery available to hire for weddings, hen do's, parties etc. The Tea Party also provide an afternoon tea service comprising of finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, cake pops and fluffy cup cakes – perfect for hen parties, birthdays, christenings, baby showers and everything in between!"
