Good morning friends!  Wow, what a week last week was! Glorious weather and a Summer-time Soiree that surpassed everybody's expectations in the most glamorous and decadent of ways ;)  It was also a sad week for we saw the closure of one of my favourite wedding magazines, Cosmopolitan Bride.  I'd like to wish Editor Miranda Eason and all the staff behind this publication all the very best of luck as they invest their energies into taking the You and Your Wedding Magazine forward onto new levels.

But today is a new week and it is time for me to welcome brand new sponsors on board the Love My Dress UK Wedding Blog train.  Rose Garden Accessories is the first of several new Sponsors I would like to introduce you to today.

Owner and designer Diana Evans originally started to design and make hair accessories and jewellery for the alternative scene, as a regular attendee at Whitby Goth Weekend {oh how I LOVE Whitby!}, where adornment was everything, and not the kind of designs you would find on the high street…

"I had always had in the back of my mind that I wanted to design extraordinary pieces that would be treasured for years and not just stuffed in a drawer after one wear, and being a long time sneaky reader of wedding blogs and magazines (despite not being married – yet) I decided to tap into the more luxurious wedding accessories market…."

"Starting from the more traditional tiara and jewellery designs, over the last three years I have developed my own signature style using delicate beading techniques and more recently I have begun to design and make silk flowers which allows me to immerse myself in my passion for nature and growing flowers by re-creating their beauty with a range of wonderful fabrics, and adding special touches such as beading…"

  1. When I was a teenager I was run over by the editor of Cosmo Bride… Mind you it was mostly my fault and I think she ended up with more emotional damage than I did physical (I had some truly spectacular bruises and scrapes and a very achey neck but that was about it)! She seemed like a very nice lady. :)

  2. I’ve always loved Diana’s work, but the silk flowers she has started handmaking are truly incredible. Roses that look so realistic I didn’t realise they were fabric at first! Well done RGA on being so talented and original!
