Bridal Inspiration Board #21 ~ Wedding Signage…

Well hello! How does this early morning blog post find you?

This Friday morning's set of inspiration boards is brought to you by yours truly.  I've been meaning to craft together some wedding sign related inspiration boards for sometime now but was inspired to do some this week after featuring this wedding, which included a fabulous love in lights sign, see 2 below.

Wedding signs can be a fun prop on your big day.  They could also serve as a fun DIY project and they look fabulous in wedding photographs.

I've just pulled together some images I hope might inspire you if you're considering using signs on your wedding day.  Please enjoy 🙂

Loveinlights

1. via Tumblr, 2. DIY 'Love in Lights' sign {DIY tutorial left by the Bride in the comments section of this blog post}, 3.  I'm All Shook Up,  4. Me & You,  5.  DIY Vintage Love sign {form a real wedding feature due soon on Love My Dress}, 6. Light up Love Sign $90

I was inspired to create this board after I featured the wedding with the 'love in lights' sign above.  The Bride actually left a comment on the blog feature, detailing how to create a sign similar to the one above. So simple and yet so effective for photographs and having a little fun 🙂

Another fabulous DIY sign is number 5 above, which was crafted by the Father of a Bride I'll be blogging about soon.

Neon lights are so much fun aren't they.  You can hire them from specialist companies like this one to use on the evening of your wedding.

Rustic

1 + 3. DIY wedding signs, from a wedding due to feature soon on Love My Dress,  2. Personalised Wedding Direction Sign £39, 4. DIY 'Cathy + Mark' Wedding signs DIY tutorial, via Wedding Bee,  5. Circus inspired 'first dance' sign via Josh Coleman, 6. DIY wooden wedding signage, via The Every Day Bride  7. Rustic Just Married Sign $24,

Rustic handmade looking signs are my fave. I love the wooden signs above, particularly those in 1 and 6 – such a cute shabby chic look and so easy to make! All you'd need is a little wood, some nails, hammer, paint and a paint brush.

The personalised wedding direction signs that can be hanged are from  Not On The High Street.

I love the simple idea of taking a blackboard and writing some an extract from a love poem or some romantic prose as in number 3 above. Again, so simple but so pretty when it comes to photo opportunities.

Cute

1.  Mr & Mrs Signs, by In The Tree House,  2 + 5.  Cute handheld signs for children, on Green Wedding Shoess, via Love Audrey's Pinterest Board, 3. Mini flags via Anna & The Ring's Wedding, 4.  Iron on mini wedding flags tutorial, via Offbeat Bride

I love the idea of creating cute little DIY flags/signs for your wedding day. You could make much fun of such a task over a bottle of wine and get-together with your Bridesmaids. The web is full of DIY tutorials – get googling!

The gorgeous signs the children are carrying abov really appealed to me.  I'm a big supporter of children at weddings – make them feel important because they are. And how much more important could a kiddywink feel than to carry a 'Here Comes The Bride' sign? Genius! 😉
