Afternoon ladies and gents 🙂 Just a very quick notice about this Sunday's Vintage Wedding Fair that is taking place at Chiswick Town Hall in London {W4 4JN} with some amazing exhibitors lined up.
Just a few years ago, weddings were very much about “the something new”. Today, an increasing number of brides are focusing on “something old”, and incorporating vintage pieces to make their day really special and that is where the Vintage Wedding Fair can help.
Fair organiser Keeley Harris sums up the trend…
“This isn’t just about the recession. Lots of brides don’t want an anonymous, off the shelf wedding, much the same as anyone else’s. Couples want their big day to really be about them, and the things they love. No two vintage weddings are alike – and that’s what makes them special.
Some brides dream of marrying in a 50s prom dress. Others want to dance the night away to a vintage gramophone, and honeymoon in a VW camper van. Some shun champagne for tea and cakes. With a vintage wedding, there are no rules.”

Those attending The Vintage Wedding Fair on Sunday can look forward to meeting an exciting and eclectic mix of exhibitors from across the country. They are offering not only the best collection of vintage wedding dresses under one roof, but also antique lace and veils, 30s and 40s lingerie, classic suits, jewellery, live music, vintage cars, cakes and crockery. Hair demonstrations will be held throughout the day, showing brides how to master styles from the 1920s to 1950s.
