Well just when you begin to lose faith in high street bridal wear offerings, you're reminded what a lovely and affordable collection Monsoon have for Brides.
This is Mr and Mrs Secker, and they tied the knot on 11th May this year at Cambridge Registry Office, following which they opted for a spot of punting down the river Cam – an effort made because of the beautiful scenery and relaxed, unfussy atmosphere the couple wanted on their wedding day.
The couple wanted to keep things as relaxed, laid back and simple as possible…
"I just wanted a relaxed day to spend with friends and family and for it to be as un-weddingy as possible, I had no first dance, speeches or cake cutting…."

Those sparkly pink beauties are from Dune…
The bride found her Monsoon wedding dress on EBay, and wore with it an ostrich feather that her Mum found in a local charity shop…
"Flowers from the local market handmade into a bouquet. Picked the flowers as the theme was set by my other half buying his shirt ages and ages in advance so I had to go with pink, and these were pick without being too girly…"

Proof that a wedding need not cost you an arm and a leg, or be full of detail and decor and that photographs can look full of love and be perfectly beautiful with the most elegant and simple of occasions.

""Natasha was amazing, she met with us prior to the day and found out what we wanted. We didn’t really want a photographer as the day was so informal but both parents would have been really cross if we didn’t.
Natasha was really un-intrusive and got the formal shots out of the way quickly without fuss then seemed to settle in and enjoy the day with us, despite my fears I didn’t once get told stand here smile blah blah blah. And once I saw the photos I was soooooo happy with them, I am not photogenic and have no photos of me in the house but I was so pleased with these ones. The photos were initially made available to us via the website and then we got sent a disc which was beautifully decorated with pics of us. And choosing the album was easy just pick the photos let Natasha know what ones we want and sit back and wait. Perfect."
