Now I’m still pinching myself that I get to work with Annabel and everyone at Love My Dress but now I’ve been part of the team for a couple of years, it’s always a thrill when I’m asked to write about companies that we genuinely love to support, and who that we truly believe our readers will love too. If you imagine the joy of getting together with a friend you’ve not seen for a year or so for a good catch-up and you’ll know how I feel when emails arrive showcasing the latest collections from designers I’ve written about previously. Today is incredibly special because Jurgita Bridal is not only sharing details of their latest accessories collection but we’re also seeing their brand new bridal separates range for the very first time…
Let’s look at the fresh accessories first and fresh is absolutely the right word for these cool, botanical designs. There’s a graceful, ethereal quality to every piece and this subtle charm is simply glorious.
“The 2016 accessories line is all about delicate details,” says designer Jurgita. “All the pieces are in soft white, grey and opal tones. White opal has been incredibly popular over the past few wedding seasons and will, I’m sure, be around for many more to come. It’s perfect for brides looking for a ‘something blue’ wedding accessory, especially if their colour palette is on the softer of pastel side.”

I love the organic lines of the 2016 bridal accessories collection. The unstructured Pearl hair wrap is the perfect example of this flowing and flexible new collection. Pieces can be worn across the forehead, draped at the back of the head or as an accent to a pretty updo.
Thoughtful is definitely the motif of this 2016 collection that includes headpieces, hair pieces, hair chains, hair vines, combs and pins not to mention truly beautiful earrings. Now, in normal circumstances, this delightful selection of accessories alone would be a cause for celebration but this year, Jurgita Bridal is also launching their first bridal separates collection and oh my goodness, it’s fantastic.
Lace blouses, tulle skirts, lace tops, silk skirts and more have added an entirely new depth to Jurgita Bridal’s wonderful offering and I’m smitten.
“It felt like it was the right time for me to explore bridal separates,” says Jurgita. “It’s the perfect way to combine designs to get the very best long and enjoy it long after the wedding day. All of the pieces in the collection are handmade in our studio from the finest French laces and Italian silks and tulles.”
One of my favourite pieces has to be this tulle skirt with train. Three layers of gorgeously soft tulle and a satin underskirt have made the most refined and elegant skirt plus the colour options are brilliant – I’ll take one in grey please!
I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s been a perfect midweek treat to welcome Jurgita Bridal back to Love My Dress today and I’m already anticipating what delights will be waiting for us the next time we meet.
