Good morning lovelies – how does this find you today? Before I go on, I want to draw your attention to some questions we’re asking you over on our Instagram Stories currently.

Now, normally I’d be kickstarting the week with a real wedding feature, but I’m shaking things up a bit today. We’ve teamed up with one of our favourite wedding photographers, the incredibly lovely and talented human being that is Claudia Rose Carter, to give you the chance to win your wedding photography worth £1,700. Wedding Photography can take a sizeable slice out of the wedding budget, for rightful reasons, but it would be rather nice, wouldn’t it, if you could use that money for something else – say, towards a lovely honeymoon after the day itself? Allow me to introduce you to lovely Claudia herself, who fell in love with photography whilst taking backstage and live photos of bands in and around her native Edinburgh.
After moving to London in 2011, Claudia fully embraced wedding photography and now living in the Midlands, Claudia has had her work featured in print and online, including here on Love My Dress.
“I’ve been working full time in photography now for eight years and I adore to tell stories,” says Claudia. “I love to capture moments that are treasured for lifetimes and I would say that my signature style is honest, natural, relaxed, informal and artistic.”
Claudia is an absolute joy. She’s worked super hard on her photography but not only that, she’s also worked on providing her couples with a real experience. This is about creating something that will outlive you and her images will make you feel things – all the emotions from your wedding are captured in those images and it’s truly beautiful.
Just take a look at Claudia’s portfolio and you’ll see what I mean. Everything is recorded – the joy, the love, the happiness, it’s all there for you. Personally, I love Claudia’s use of light and the creative composition of the images alongside the traditional and candid shots.
There’s no denying the fact that Claudia, quite clearly, loves people – you simply couldn’t record weddings with such care and expertise otherwise. So many of Claudia’s testimonials play tribute to her and her wonderful personality, as well as her images, and she’s just the person you’d want by your side on such an important day.
