If you’re looking for wedding inspiration that celebrates colour, Provence and timeless European style, today’s editorial is full of beautiful ideas.
French photography and filmmaking duo Les Bandits conceived Dolce Amore after being inspired by Mas d’Arvieux, a breathtakingly beautiful South of France wedding venue near Avignon. They tell us the venue became the starting point for the entire concept, inspiring an editorial that brings together the elegance of Provence with subtle Italian influences.
Working alongside planner Artis Evenement and a team of creatives whose work they admire, Les Bandits created this shoot to celebrate collaboration and to inspire both couples and fellow wedding professionals. Rich yellows, burnt oranges and thoughtful styling run throughout the editorial, creating a joyful contrast against the character and architecture of Le Mas d’Arvieux.
I hope you enjoy exploring it as much as I have.
We, Les Bandits, are the photographers who envisioned and brought this inspirational shoot to life. Our primary source of inspiration was the stunning and luxurious wedding venue, Le Mas d’Arvieux.
Set near Avignon in the South of France, this glorious venue combines the beauty of Provence with timeless French elegance and a subtle hint of Italy, providing the perfect backdrop for the vision we wanted to create.
With this atmosphere in mind, we imagined a wedding shoot infused with Italian flair, the spirit of la dolce vita, all while preserving that timeless French sophistication.
The purpose of this shoot was to bring together a team of talented vendors whom we deeply admire. Collaborating with creative souls whose worlds blend seamlessly with ours is something we hold dear — it always brings a certain magic to our editorial projects.
Above all, we wanted to create imagery, styling, and a setting that would inspire future couples and wedding professionals alike.
This ‘Dolce Amore’ editorial was much more than just a shooting: it was an incredible escape where each photo tells a story of passion, elegance, freedom and capturing the very essence of Italian sweetness and French elegance.
This love story is about a meeting over a song and a elegant couple vibrating to the same notes. It’s a perfect marriage of simplicity and elegance, like an Italian dream with French accents.
A decor that smells of summer and long, golden evenings. From bright yellow to burnt orange, every detail invites you to into la dolce vita.
