The first thing I should perhaps point out, is that the company do not sell their dresses online – dresses are only sold by private appointment. However, the company, which was created for brides who love to wear something completely original, source their dresses from London, Paris and across the world and hold a rare and diverse selection of gorgeous gowns and accessories from the Victorian era right through to the early 1970s. Each dress is beautifully cleaned and restored and can be tailored to a couture finish.
Founder and stylist Charlie Brear says "I wanted to take the trepidation and hard work out of finding a unique dress to get married in ~ It is so hard when searching for a vintage dress to know whether you can restore something to its former glory. I buy individual pieces that I love and as a company we provide a service that does just that."
To complement the original vintage pieces the company has recently launched its Decades Collection. Comprising six new vintage-inspired dresses, one from each era from the 1920s through to the 1970s. With an unrivalled knowledge of vintage dresses Charlie has created a beautiful capsule collection of gowns each elegantly designed using the details and accents of decades gone by.
