I am a BIG Jenny Packham addict. It has to be said. I wore Jenny Packham on my wedding day and I frankly absolutely adore each and every single one of her exquisite, floaty and delicately embellished designs. Jenny has got the art of creating a feminine wedding dress that mixes demure with a little 'sexy' and bags of elegance down to a 'tee'. Her designs lend themselves so perfectly too, to the current 'vintage' trend within the UK wedding industry; each one could be easily teamed with a vintage hair comb or headband and original vintage or vintage jewels. And if you are looking for the perfect pair of shoes to go with a Packham – try Emmy's vintage inspired heels; Emmy and Jenny regularly collaborate on designs and advertising campaigns.
I've a few stunning Jenny Packham real weddings coming up soon, AND, one very special Jenny Packham treat for readers, however, today, I'd like to celebrate Her Highness, Ms. Packham, through the wedding of Vicky and David, that took place in May 2009 at Cornhill House in Biggar, Scotland and was captured beautifully on camera by Archibald Photography – a special thank you to Donna Archibald for providing these images.
Vicky got her gorgeous Jenny Packham dress from Pan Pan Bridal in Edinburgh.
"I'd always loved Jenny Packham dresses and the "Manouka" was the first dress I saw in a bridal magazine and I fell in love with it there and then. I did put it to the back of my mind though and tried to find other dresses I liked as I thought it was more for a skinny person and just wouldn't suit me but it was in the window of Pan Pan when I went there for an appointment and it was a sign that it was meant to be. I tried it on thinking it still wouldn't suit me but it did and I fell in love with it all over again. My mum started crying the minute I had it in so I knew it was the right dress. I love it because it is not too traditional and so comfy to wear. And also because I thought I couldn't have it!"

"My hair band {click image below to enlarge} and bracelet were vintage accessories which Kirstie Taylor from Flo & Percy sourced for me. I absolutely loved them and although we had to do everything via email as Kirstie is based in London, she kept me up to date with the designs, etc, every step of the way. My headband was a real talking point on the day.”
For flowers, Vicky said it was only ever going to be Floral n Hardy in Lanark. Lisa and her team at Floral n Hardy were the second thing that Vicky booked after the venue!
Vicky’s Mum and Dad’s best friends, Drew and Alison, gave them their cake as a wedding gift. The couple chose Special Days in Uddingston to make the cake and it was delicious. I love the simplicity and elegance of this cake, which reflects the characteristics of Vicky's beautiful dress.
Just a few photographs from a beautiful day – Jenny Packham perfection through and through.
Thank you so much to Archibald Photography for submitting these gorgeous wedding day photographs.
