Yulia was one of the very first designers to be featured on Love My Dress back in December 2009. At the time, Yulia was just starting out with her creative business venture, however, I'm delighted and thrilled to Yulia to hear that in the past 6 months, Yulia has featured in fashion magazines, several UK wedding magazines and her exquisite designs are now being worn by Brides and used by fashion stylists all around the world.
"I am doing more and more customised work at the moment and have had a a number of incredibly passionate vintage brides recently for whom I designed headpieces specifically to match their antique wedding dresses. In my latest collection I am using a lot Art Deco rhinestone appliqués, 1920s diamante and vintage wax flowers and leaves. All the material are very rare original pieces and they look absolutely stunning in their new life…"

Yulia developed a passion for creating her exquisite hair jewellery whilst working at Sotheby's Art Auction House of London in the Russian Department. During this time, Yulia also studied the History of Art at Christie's Institute. where she discovered her love of everything vintage and where her fascination with hair jewellery started.
All designs are created by using salvaged antique embellishments and vintage jewellery. Materials are sourced worldwide and come from many different time periods to create beautiful one of a kind pieces. They include Rhinestone appliques of 1920s flapper dress, Victorian jet beads, vintage millinery flowers, aged French lace, tulle.
"Each of my headpieces is handmade and has a little story behind it. They would be great for the vintage loving bride who is looking to wear something unique and unusual on her special day. Of course, I am always open for any questions and would be very happy to work together with a Bride to design the headdress that would be perfect for her special day. All my pieces are one of a kind and can be customised to order."

Yulia's price range is £50-£200 and you can purchase her products directly from her website. Yulia told me that she works hard to regularly update the collection and that most weeks there is something new added.
