It's feel good Friday – I've already posted a feature full of smiles this morning, by the fabulous Manchester Wedding Photographer Tobiah Tayo, and now, I bring you a field full of balloons! 😉
This sweet and uplifting photoshoot was taken by Surrey Wedding Photographer, Anneli Marinovich, who explains more…
"One of my goals for 2011 is to do a “concept shoot” every month. It’s a great way to keep the creative juices flowing and 'play out' all the ideas I have in my head (when I'm not shooting weddings!).
For this specific shoot, I literally had the brainwave on the Thursday and decided to shoot it on the Sunday – the only sunny day forecasted for that week! Since tying the knot in December 2009, I knew I would use my Pronovias wedding dress again, but this time without me wearing it! Ever since I saw the dress in a Pronovias advert in Cosmopolitan Bride Magazine, I knew “this was the one”."

"Needless to say, Pronovias dresses don’t come cheap and I had already saved up my maximum budget to spend on my wedding dress, so you can imagine how shocked I was when a few months later, I walked into a sample sale at a hotel in Kensington and saw the exact dress hanging on the rail, in my size and marked down to my exact budget. When I slipped it on, it was like it was made just for me…my heart sang and I fell head over heels in love. So, too gorgeous to just hang in my closet gathering dust after our wedding, I decided to get it out for a few more ‘moments in the sun’ (literally!)
Living in Surrey, we are surrounded by beautiful fields & forests – the perfect setting for a vintage inspired forest shoot with a girly touch. So armed with my beautiful friend & model for the day, Lisa and another friend Tamaryn (my glamorous assistant), we made our way to the field behind my house, where a few horses live (tip: horses do not like balloons!). We then moved on to Oxshott Common – a beautiful forest a short drive from the field. The light was just perfect and the skies a blue I haven't seen in a while! Combined with lollipops, cotton candy coloured balloons, cupcakes, pink birds and lots of lens flare, my fairytale wedding dress shone once more…"
Thanks so much Anneli for sharing these beautiful photographs with Love My Dress today 🙂
Much love,
