♥ Happy Valentines Everyone ♥
I am SO excited about 12 noon today, when I'll be sharing the very first few sneak peek photographs of my escapades at Luella's Boudoir last Tuesday, with my fellow UK Wedding Bloggers 🙂
For now I'd like to share a pretty Scottish wedding with you all. Kirsten & Gregor tied the knot on 2 October 2010, at The Lodge, Lochgoilhead, Scotland and I just loved Kristen's dress the moment I saw it.
This fabulous frock was supplied by London Vintage Wedding Dress specialists, Fur Coat No Knickers…
"With the lovely and attention from Laura and Emma at Fur Coat No Knickers, they fitted and transformed a very pretty 1950's US prom dress into a beautiful dress with exact, quirky look that I was hoping for…."

I do love to see a pretty vintage frock hanging up ready to be worn with love by the Bride. Those girls at Fur Coat No Knickers are so clever finding the most gorgeous original vintage wedding dresses and restructuring them into a modern, wearable item…
These pretty teal colour Bridesmaids dresses were a fab fine from Love My Dress sponsor, Dessy…
I recognise that hair accessory anywhere!
"William Chambers made a beautiful head piece for me…"
All the florals on the day were provided by Bijou Flowers…
"I really wanted to keep the bouquets very simple and Bijou Flowers understood that perfectly…"
The Groom wore his own kilt and his Groomsmen hired kilts from Mccalls Glasgow…
The couple chose their venue, The Lodge, Lochgoilhead, Scotland because it offered a luxurious but intimate setting, with beautiful gardens and a space beside the loch for the ceremony…
"Gregor and I met ten years ago when at University in Aberdeen, so we have a very strong relationship. The Lodge was a perfect location to celebrate with our friends and family how much we value their contribution to our happiness, and ultimately how much we love each other. It was the luxury and intimacy – and ultimately fun – that the Lodge offered that made it so appealing."
"We love the outdoors and we're not terribly formal so were determind to have our wedding outdoors beside a loch. In Scotland in Cotober that was a challenge, but we planned for the rain and had our ceremony under umbrellas – it was incredibly romantic…"
Pretty heart cupcakes were provided by a 'small shop in Glasgow' that Kristen found, called Cupcake Glasgow…
Words of Wedded Wisdom…
"Don't feel pressured to make decisions that only make other people happy. We discussed all the big decisions with our family (i.e. which family we weren't going to invite) but ultimately we wanted to have a celebration that suited our personalities and one which we would treasure – rather than end up with a stressful day that brought a sigh of relief when it ended…"
