Morning! ;) I'm really keen to tell you today about something rather exciting that is happening next month. On Sunday 20th March, the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners {UKAWP} will be hosting a show called The Wedding Sanctuary, a brand new event that challenges the traditional format of a wedding fair, and that will literally have something for everyone; style, design and heaps of expert advice.
I'm really proud to be supporting the UKAWP in promoting this event; traditional wedding fairs have their place in the world, but from where I'm standing, I'm seeing a new era in wedding events being born. Forget the hard-sell – the industry experts that will be on hand at The Wedding Sanctuary, will be teamed up with planners from the Alliance to offer the very best in one-on-one wedding advice, so the atmosphere will be very different from that of a traditional wedding fair.
Imagine the likes of Photographer Julia Boggio, Florists Amanda Austin, and groom’s blogger Staggered stood next to a gaggle of experienced and well trained wedding planners, poised to answer any questions you might have regarding any element of your wedding! Sounds like a great opportunity hey?

Hair and make-up artist Elle au Naturel and personal stylist Katrina Choat will complete ‘The Boudoir’ team who will ensure that you are looking and feeling your absolute best for your wedding day.
The fabulous Cutture, lasercut stationery specialists, will also be on hand to showcase their breathtaking stationery designs.
If you’re the super organised with your planning so don’t have any questions, there's still a great reason to attend this event, as the UKAWP members have created some really innovative dining table designs which will be on display on the day – along with full details of how to achieve the look yourself and the associated costs.
The Wedding Sanctuary will be held at the gorgeous Somerset House on London’s embankment, where you can look froward to grabbing a glass of bubbly and a canapé courtesy of Table Talk and take in the river views!
