It's not often that you receive an email from a talented bridal accessory designer, to tell you that they have named one of their newest and most sparkly and pretty creations after you. But actually, that's just what happened to me the week before last when designer, Corrine Smith got in touch to tell me about her brand new Luxe collection of hairbands and accessories, and her latest, piece, the 'Annabel'….

The 'Annabel' £165 {also pictured below}, is a beautiful double rose vintage style side detail headband. The Roses are adorned with swarovski crystal and accentuated with lustrous ivory pearls. The band itself is also wrapped in pearls. Such a gorgeous design and I feel indescribably flattered {if not utterly unworthy!!} that Corrine chose to name this creation after me….! 😉
Corrine Smith has been designing and making beautiful contemporary and vintage inspired bridal accessories for over seven years, formerly from her home studio and now from her accessories boutique in Kilmarnock, South West Scotland. I first connected with Corrine a couple of months back on Twitter and I'm really looking forward to meeting her soon at the Love My Dress Summer Soiree next month…
As well as these designs you see here on this page, Corrine Smith also offers a bespoke design service. And when it comes to bespoke, Corrine says she draws her design inspiration from a number of factors: the brides hairstyle, the cut and detail of the wedding gown, the overall theme of the wedding day and of course the personality of the bride herself…
