It's almost lunch time, and I know that many of you will be
distracted already by the idea of a break from work and something yummy
to eat. I'm here to add to that distraction with a wonderful little
super-8mm movie, courtesy of film makers Cine Reportage.
This lovely little film follows the 'wedfest' of Alice and James, which
took place at their picturesque family home in Kent. Film maker William Cummock told me more..
"Alice and James' wedding was a joyful, bright and breezy day with all
that's best about the illusive English summer – flowers fresh from the
from the garden, guests seated on straw-bales, home-made elderflower
cordial and forecast rain that never materialised.
It's hard to match the intimacy of a family-owned venue, everyone was so at ease – chilling out and celebrating together. Alice's stunning dress was by Jenny Packham and her bridesmaids made a pretty bouquet of English Roses in blush pink…"
