Morning all! For those of you who missed it, I wrote quite a heartfelt piece yesterday afternoon on wedding ceremony readings – do take time to read this, our readers have left some really beautiful and inspirational comments. It's a 3 blog post today, beginning with this super stylish London bride who chose to wear the designer label Chloe on her wedding day, rather than opting for a more traditional wedding dress purchase. This has my big seal of approval – I love the way Saria's choise of wedding day attire has accents of a 1970's wedding about it – that hint of a bohemian bride, complete with a circlet of fresh flowers in her hair and her long loose longs with a hint of a sexy seventies wave.
Sicilian born Saria and Londoner Owen, who met whilst working together, tied the knot on 22 December last year at The Union Club on Greek Street, Soho, London – which the couple describe as cosy, warm venue in a beautiful location for their perfect Christmas wedding.
"Chloe is my favourite fashion brand, and I though a top, skirt and pair of nude shoes from Chloe would look fabulous on my wedding day…"

"I had a fresh flower crown in my hair, provided by The Fresh Flower Company of East Dulwich. I also wore a white gold necklace with pearls – which was a gift from my Auntie for my baptism in Sicily."
"I hired crockery from Daniele at Classic Crockery Hire. She provided a great service and her products are beautiful! They really were the centre piece of the wedding."
"Our photographers were McKinley Rodgers who did a wonderful job. Penny and Cam are such a lovely couple – they are funny and easy going and produce beautiful, natural photographs. Our wedding photographs provide wonderful memories…"
"Our first dance was to 'you make my dreams, by Daryl Hall and John Oates…"
Words of Wedded Wisdom…
"Make your wedding small enough to manage – do everything you can to relieve the stress! It's your day, so enjoy it too. Go crazy on the dance floor – dance with everyone at the the end of the day!"
How lovely is this gorgeous little London wedding? Completely delightful. And inspirational to anyone not in to wearing an actual wedding dress but something but just just as chic and stylish. This is the first Chloe bride we've seen on Love My Dress, I wonder if there will be any more after this feature?
I also adore Saria's fresh flower circlet – there's something so timelessly pretty and whimsical and romantic about these pretty floral headdresses.
Huge thanks to the delightfully charming Penny of McKinley Rodgers Photography for providing these images – thank you so much Penny, as always, your work continues to make me smile and bring me so much pleasure. Who's feeling the love with me for this laid back and yet super stylisth London affair?
Pop back later ladies and gents for our two other posts today. In the meantime, have a lovely Tuesday morning.
With much love,
Annabel
