Well well well. What an incredible week so far. Just incredible. Weeks like this don't happen very often, so please forgive us for a slightly sporadic blog post schedule this past 5 days. It has been a whirlwind dream involving many taxi journeys to and fro, trains (and missed trains), lots of last minute phone calls, pre-event panic nerves and anxiety, happy hugs and tears, no where near enough sleep, champagne and celebration, culminating in 260 of the best of the UK wedding industry joining me, my family and friends on Wednesday evening at Corbet Place in Shoreditch to celebrate the launch of my book, Style Me Vintage: Weddings. It was one of the most beautiful, joyous evenings I have ever experienced. I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
I will be blogging about it all very soon, showing you what the truly talented and amazing team behind the event are capable off, for now, you can catch up with what was for me, one of the most exciting times and proudest moments of my life here;-
Elle Magazine were in attendance and blogged about it here – thank you so much Elle!
The fabulously technically savvy Celia of 'Bride Electric' was in attendance and shared her experience on Storify. You can visit Celia's website Bride Electric here.
Instagram was and still is awash with images from the evening – look up the #smvwed hashtag
I think #smvwed must have been trending on Twitter at one point!
Those gorgeous girls over at Belle & Bunty blogged about the launch – thank you so much Hannah and Alice!
Here is a little sneaky preview of the evening, courtesy of photographer Ashton Jean-Pierre, official photographer on the night, as well as an image of my and my husband Philip below. You can find out about my dress and all the other details in the official blog post coming soon, I promise.

You can buy Style Me Vintage: Weddings on Amazon, Waterstones and in all good book shops.
Goodness, I really can't stop thinking and smiling about it. It was nothing short of incredible. Like a dream! I'm trying so hard not to share to much, I really must keep it for the official blog post! And besides, I have about 3 trillion thank you cards to be getting on with writing.
Which leaves me to say that whilst I might be back in my beloved hometown of Whitby right now, I'm hopping on a train later this afternoon back to the big smoke so that I can join some of my favourite colleagues at the eagerly awaited Zoe Lem Vintage Wedding Fair tomorrow.
Please do come along if you can – I'll be signing/selling books and participating in a VIP expert panel in the morning – join me plus the panel listed below to ask us any question you like about planning your wedding, whilst supping on some breakfast champagne, how does that sound?

I am getting so bloomin' excited about meeting some of my readers and brides to be – this is why I do this and getting out there and being a part of it all is one of the very best parts of my job.
Tickets to the Zoe Lem Vintage Wedding Fair can still be purchased today – alternatively you can pay on the door tomorrow, at whatever time you'd prefer to arrive, morning or afternoon. Full details of show location, who will be there, what's on, how to get there and all the rest can be found here. It's going to be damn right amazing. I cannot wait!
Lots of love and excitement everyone, I hope you all have a really lovely day,
Annabel
