Natural, Feminine, Modern Bridal Beauty with Claire Pettibone

There are a few designers that I’ve adored since the very beginning of Love My Dress way back in 2009, and one of them is Claire Pettibone.

Claire’s designs have always been astonishingly beautiful – she has a such a strong, feminine signature that is instantly recognisable. Always effortlessly elegant and feminine, always glamorously flattering – and so when these editorial images landed in my inbox, I knew I wanted to share them with you right away.

It’s also an incredible pleasure to feature the work of our Little Book Wedding Directory member, the wonderful Emma Pilkington. Emma is a talented wedding photographer whose style is clean, light and crisp and fine art in style.

I adore her work and make no hesitation in recommending her to you if you are considering a photographer of your own. Based in Lancashire and Manchester, she covers weddings all over the UK.

“Our bridal editorial was inspired by the romance of vintage lace dresses and natural feminine beauty. Featuring beautiful lace and chiffon dresses by Claire Pettibone from her Romantique collection, complimented by delicate jewellery by Victoria Fergusson.”

“We wanted to provide inspiration for the modern boho bride who doesn’t want to look too traditional on her wedding day – wether that’s a sultry smoky eye, a messy up do or an edgy off the shoulder fashion led wedding dress.”
