Good afternoon you lovely lot – it gives me great pleasure this lunch time to share this beautiful set of images with you, submitted by a team bursting with creativity and an eye for cool, modern bridal style.
The focus of this shoot was all about modern and luxey bridal vibes, with beautiful bridal fashion supplied by Jessica Bennett and details brought together by Braw Creative. With special thanks to photograper Leah Lombardi and the team credited below for sharing such beautiful work.
“The shoot encompasses ideas for all seasons – the pinks work well for spring weddings, the dramatic hues work well for autumn and winter weddings and the pale hues and clean, minimal style works well for summer weddings. Using an unconventional venue, unconventional bride, unconventional florals and unconventional decor we wanted to experiment and push our creativity. The mixture of soft pinks, touches of silver and dark burgundy contrasted the minimal, modern dresses and the white washed walls of the space. Dramatic colour and texture combinations ranging from nude to deep burgundy and ombré pink hues really stood out against the blank canvas of the venue.”

“For the florals, SASSFLOWER used cymbidium orchids, deep burgundy cotinus, dried lunaria, amnesia roses and purple scabiosa in the oversized bridal bouquet. The smaller bridesmaid bouquet included pink cymbidium orchids, silver dusty miller, pampass Grass, lunaria and amnesia roses. The floral hoop, otherwise known as the moongate, was made up entirely of pampass grass and purple cotinius with some orchid accents. The table runner consisted of multiple textures and shades of pinks. Running the centre of the table to the floor for dramatic impact.”
“Jessica Bennett Bespoke provided gorgeous minimal dresses from The Stella Collection. The collection celebrates the spirit of today’s modern bride, who is both stylish and sophisticated; designed with the sole purpose of offering trend conscious women their perfect wedding gown.”
“The gowns used for the shoot were a perfect pairing with the modern, clean and minimal aesthetic of the unique space and provided the ideal bridal look to off-set the vivid florals.”
“To complement the different textures and dramatic colour pairings, the stationery was simple and elegant with some slightly unexpected twists, exploring the textures of different materials. Here rich and deep claret shades were used, paired with blush pink from the colour palette and the off-white of the cotton rag paper to complement the stunning florals.”
“The menu was simple, designed on cotton rag deckled-edged paper with a touch of silver leaf, and paired with place names with a claret leather edging. This worked well with the claret linen napkins and raw wood of the table.”
“The hair and makeup was modern, stylish and embodied the feeling of the shoot – luxe and minimal. Tilly Thomas Lux’s pieces in the hair added a modern, stylish element to the simplicity of the hair styling.”
