Hey, I’m Betty. I’ve been documenting weddings & elopements in Scotland + beyond for the last ten+ years.

Since 2013, my lens has traveled far and wide, capturing heartfelt moments and crafting artful portraits that tell unique love stories. I believe in keeping your wedding day relaxed and enjoyable, blending into the background to capture the little moments & the big ones.

Away from the lens, I find joy in life’s simple pleasures – finding the perfect hot chocolate (it’s a tough job but someones got to do it), embarking on creative adventures with my whirlwind of a three-year-old, or curling up with my Nintendo Switch while my favourite shows repeat in the background.

I have a passion for cinematic lighting and making the most of each venue’s unique features. This allows me to create stunning, atmospheric images that add depth and emotion to your wedding story. During your couple’s portraits, I aim to really lean into the venue’s surroundings creatively, while offering gentle direction to capture each moment authentically and beautifully. I am dedicated to creating images that not only preserve memories but also evoke emotions, ensuring your story is beautifully told for generations to come.
