Hi there! We’re Archie and Abigail, the faces behind Bowl of Corks Photography.
We offer wedding photography, videography, and planning services across the UK and beyond. Based near Loughborough – perfectly nestled between Nottingham, Derby, and Leicester – we’ve captured celebrations everywhere from the rolling hills of the Peak District to the sun-soaked beaches of the Caribbean.
Our style is all about authentic, unposed moments, blending film-like colours with moody black-and-whites to create images that feel timeless and cinematic. While we don’t like to put ourselves in a box, our approach is often called ‘documentary’ or ‘reportage’ – but really, it’s just about capturing your day as it unfolds, filled with real, raw emotion.

What’s your approach to wedding photography and videography?
Our style is all about authenticity and atmosphere – capturing moments as they unfold, naturally and unobtrusively. We blend film-like colours and atmospheric black-and-whites to create timeless coverage.
When it comes to video, we focus on movement and sound, along with small moments and closeups to evoke the spirit of the day, crafting highlight films that feel cinematic and emotional.
How far in advance should we book you?
We recommend booking as soon as you’ve secured your wedding date – typically 12 to 18 months ahead.
Our calendar can fill up quickly, especially during peak wedding season!
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely! We’re based near Loughborough – perfectly positioned between Nottingham, Derby, and Leicester – but we’ve captured celebrations everywhere from the Peak District to the Caribbean.
We’re always up for an adventure, whether it’s a local gathering or a destination wedding.
How long will it take to receive our photos and video?
Your full gallery and highlight video are delivered together as part of your wedding package. We believe in doing things right rather than rushing, so editing usually takes between 4–6 weeks, with some flexibility depending on the season.
What prints, albums, and products do you offer?
We believe your photos deserve to live beyond a screen. All of our coverage includes a selection of beautifully printed images in a handcrafted display box. We also offer a range of bespoke albums, prints, and wall art that can be tailored to suit your style. We’re more than happy to chat through the options and help you create something truly special.
What’s included in your wedding video package?
Our video package includes:
• A 4–6 minute highlight film in landscape aspect ratio
• A 1-minute vertical ‘reel’ video
• Editing in either colour or black and white
• Licensed music so you can share your video online
For the best coverage, our videos are available only when a second photographer is booked.
Do you offer engagement sessions or pre-wedding shoots?
Yes! We love engagement sessions – they’re a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and capture a different side of your relationship. Plus, it gives us a chance to hang out before the big day!

It’s easy! Just drop us a message and let’s chat. We’ll talk through your plans, answer any questions, and lock in your date. A signed contract and a deposit are all it takes to secure your spot.
