Coorie specialises in planning beautifully personal elopements, destination weddings and micro weddings across Scotland, with a calm, thoughtful approach that keeps everything feeling simple and well considered.
The name ‘Coorie’ (pronounced ku-ri) comes from the Scots language, meaning to hold someone close, to show love through warmth and closeness. It also reflects a wider sense of embracing Scotland itself, its landscapes, culture and atmosphere. That idea runs through everything they do, helping you create a wedding that feels natural, meaningful and completely your own.
Whether you’re drawn to Scotland’s wild scenery, quiet lochs and mountains, or its historic cities and architecture, Coorie will guide you to a location that feels right for you. Their process begins with getting to know you properly, understanding what matters and shaping a day around that, rather than following a set formula.
With years of experience planning weddings and elopements in Scotland, Coorie bring clarity and reassurance at every stage. Their planning process is well structured but never overwhelming, designed to keep you organised while still leaving space for creativity. If you’re planning a destination wedding to Scotland, their local knowledge and steady support make the process feel far more manageable from afar.
You’ll have access to your own personalised planning portal, with tailored checklists, mood boards and all your key details in one place. Supplier and design recommendations are thoughtfully prepared and presented clearly, so you can make decisions with confidence.
Coorie is led by co-owner and senior planner Amanda, whose connection to Scotland spans over sixteen years and more than a decade in the wedding industry. She is supported by Holly, who brings organisation and care to everything behind the scenes.
Their elopement packages also include photography by Emma Lawson, an experienced wedding photographer who has documented hundreds of celebrations across Scotland.
Together, they offer a warm, experienced and genuinely personal way to plan your wedding in Scotland, helping you create a day that feels relaxed, well held and entirely true to you
