Emis Weddings is a London wedding photographer with a strong documentary and in-the-moment style wedding, who captures weddings all over the UK and world.

To me wedding days are about the joyous times spent with families. It’s about the dad jokes, the embracing dance moves, and the friends and family members you haven’t seen in a long time. It’s about just being human, and a celebration of love.

My approach is to capture photos that evoke a myriad of emotions. A wedding day is often a whirlwind of feelings, and having a photographer who can discern both the significant and subtle moments, while prioritising real narratives, humour, storytelling, and the overall ambiance, is crucial for creating a timeless collection of images.

I capture your day as it happened – No fake poses, or asking you to repeat moments, my documentary style is about capturing what you truly felt on the day.

I love it when couples express their personalities and find a way to bring the DIY feel to their special day. Isn’t that what weddings are about?

I would love to hear all about your plans, and get excited with you about your ideas. I would love to share all my experience with you, and act as your wedding planner too! Let’s collaborate and document your day like it’s the biggest party on earth!

Do you take any family photos?

Despite my documentary style, I do understand family are super important on your wedding day, and we will keep mum and dad happy! I always tell my couples to not be afraid to spend just 15min to capture a few formal photos with the family. Don’t worry I will not need an endless list from you, let’s keep it simple and focus on 8-10 groups, so you and your guests can go back to the canapés and drinks! For the bride and groom sessions, we spend roughly 10-15min making the most of the location, and giving you a little break from the crowd. This is not compulsory, just a little bonus if you fancy it on the day.

How many photos do we get?

For those going for the full day coverage starting from morning prep, you can expect to receive 500+ edited photographs (full resolution and no watermarks). All your photos are edited by me.

How do we receive the photos?

Your wedding photos will be edited to my signature style, and uploaded onto a beautifully curated online gallery for easy viewing and downloading. They are yours to keep forever!

Do you have insurance?

Yes! Full liability insurance is covered, and available to share with your wedding venue if they request a copy.

Do you travel out of London?

Yes, I capture weddings all over the UK, and have captured weddings across Europe, so don’t hesitate to tell me about your plans. For weddings in Europe, A fixed fee of £500 is applied to cover travel and accommodation costs.

Is there a deposit? How do we book?

After an initial chat with you both I will send out a contract for you to review. Once the £300 deposit is settled and contract is signed I am all yours for the day. The remaining balance is due 1 month before the wedding date.
