A wedding brings a lifetime of relationships into one day. Parents, friends, siblings, chosen family, history and future, all in the same space, all moving at once. It moves quickly, and the moments that matter don’t wait or repeat themselves. My work is about noticing them as they happen, so nothing important is missed.

I photograph weddings with a focus on people, timing and atmosphere. Conversations mid flow, movement, the shift in energy as the day builds. The moments you didn’t see but would want to remember. It’s led by observation and instinct, not control.

On the day, I’m present and responsive. Most of the time I’m in the background, letting things unfold. When direction is needed, I step in, keep it clear, then step back so the momentum isn’t lost. Couples often say they felt able to stay in their wedding, not pulled out of it. Portraits are relaxed and considered. We step away briefly, use light and movement, then get you back to your people while everything still feels alive.

This way of working relies on trust. When you let the day breathe, the photographs carry more weight and they reflect what was actually happening. And so, my style and way of working is for couples who care about experience as much as aesthetics. Weddings with energy, movement and strong social connection.

Before photography, I was a Deputy Headteacher in Essex. That shaped how I read people, handle pressure and stay steady in fast moving environments. Outside of weddings, I’m fuelled by music (house, UK garage, 90s on repeat), documentaries, and travel whilst looking after my husband, two kids and a labradoodle.

I am a hybrid photographer who can offer both digital photography, highlight videos and 35mm film photography. I offer both full day coverage & bespoke coverage for more intimate/shorter wedding days.
