Ginger Beard Weddings, an award-winning wedding Manchester wedding photographer who captures modern, cinematic, and timeless documentary-style films for couples across the UK and at destination weddings all over the world.

I have been fortunate enough to capture over 400 weddings during the last 10 years My own personal story with photography goes back a lot further than that, I fell in love, with the art of photography during my time at film school. I was passionate about cinematography, the art of light & telling a story through film.

Fast forward to now and it’s taken me all over the UK, Europe and the world. It’s such a privilege being a “witness” capturing every couple’s story through my love of cinematic composition and documentary storytelling.

Travel is included if you’re getting married in the UK, Europe & the rest of the world! I travel everywhere and absolutely love it.

WE HATE HAVING OUR PHOTO TAKEN, HELP!!

Don’t worry, you are in safe hands! I take all the stress away with my relaxed documentary approach. No awkward posing, no taking you away from your guests for hours on end, and 100% nothing cheesy! I get to know all my couples, so by the time I shoot your wedding, I will feel more like a friend than your photographer.

CAN YOU PUT US IN TOUCH WITH OTHER VENDORS?

Always happy to recommend vendors who could slot into your day perfectly! I have worked in this industry for over five years, so I have a little black book of the best vendors who I love to champion.

WHAT DOES PREP TO PARTY COVERAGE LOOK LIKE?

Telling your story from start to (almost) finish, I offer this because I don’t want my clients to clock watch. Coverage comes with image downloads via an online gallery, which are downloadable via a personalised link and is live for one year. Unlimited downloads are included, and the link is shareable with friends and family. Coverage starts two hours pre-ceremony and ends after the first set of the band/DJ once I’m happy I captured the essence of the dance floor. Timings can be discussed in more detail during your consult.

DO YOU SHOOT ANALOGUE/FILM?

I absolutely do! With over 20 years of experience shooting analogue, I have now incorporated it into my business. I have a multitude of cameras, including a Contax T2, Leica M rangefinder & Polaroid SX-70. I love being able to shoot film for my clients and give them something tangible that they can frame. You can’t beat film, in my opinion, as it has soul and is a visually stunning addition to your digital gallery.
