Hello, my name is Chinelo and I am the founder of Good Cake Day – a luxury wedding cake studio based in Battersea, London.
At Good Cake Day we create bespoke wedding cakes as unique as you to make you feel special. Our buttercream/ganache cakes are crafted as minimalist works of art with luxurious accents, tailored to your vision and taste.
Serving prominent brands and even members of a Royal Family, we offer both custom cakes and signature designs. Our gold-gilded brownies – praised by BBC Good 😌 as “the best postal brownies in the UK”, can add a touch of glamour to your dessert table or serve as a wedding favour.

How do I book my wedding cake?
We’d love to be part of your special day! To book your wedding cake, simply get in touch with us via our contact form, email, or phone. To ensure we can create the perfect cake for you, we recommend booking at least 6-12 months in advance, but we’ll always do our best to accommodate you, no matter when you get in touch.
What types of cakes do you offer?
We offer a beautiful selection of luxurious buttercream or ganache wedding cakes, from elegant tiered cakes to chic semi-naked designs, as well as bespoke creations tailored to your unique style. Whether you’re dreaming of a traditional design or something a little more unconventional, we can also cater to dietary preferences like gluten-free, vegan, or dairy-free, so everyone can enjoy your special cake!

How much will my wedding cake cost?
We believe in creating a cake that’s as special as your big day, and we offer a range of pricing options to suit different budgets. The final cost depends on factors such as the size, complexity, and design of your cake. Once we discuss your vision and requirements, we’ll be happy to provide a personalised quote that reflects your unique needs. As a guide, most of our couples spend between £675 -£950.
How do you ensure the cake will be delivered and set up at my venue?
Rest assured, we take care of everything when it comes to delivery and setup! Our team will ensure that your cake arrives safely and beautifully displayed at your venue. We’ll work closely with your venue to coordinate the timing of the delivery, and we’ll be there to set it up, so you can relax and enjoy your day.
How far in advance should I place my wedding cake order?
To ensure we have plenty of time to perfect your dream cake, we recommend placing your order at least 3-12 months in advance, especially if your wedding is during peak season. But don’t worry – if you’re planning last minute, just let us know, and we’ll do everything we can to make it happen!
Do you provide other wedding dessert options?
Yes, we do! If you’d like to add a little extra sweetness to your celebration, we offer a variety of luxury desserts, including cupcakes, macarons, biscuits, and even dessert tables. We can design these treats to match your cake and overall wedding theme, making every bite a delightful experience for your guests.

We have a delicious range of flavours to choose from, including timeless favourites like vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet, as well as unique flavour combinations like Earl Grey and honey, or our indulgent small batch produced salted caramel. We also offer the option to create gluten-free or vegan cakes, ensuring everyone at your celebration can have a good cake day.
