Frequently Asked Questions

Does the ground need to be flat?

No, at Good Intents we can supply and fit a level floors with a scaffold sub frame. If there is a slope throughout the site we could incorporate the slope with a split level floor.

Can you have marquees in the winter?

Yes, Good Intents is very experienced at Winter Weddings. The marquees are built with solid wooden floors and secure windows and doors. The marquee are heated with thermostatically controlled heaters and toilets can be incorporated into the marquee so guests do not need to leave the marquee. In addition the clearspan marquees have greater wind loading than other structures so are better equipped for wintry conditions.

Will there be someone on site from the marquee company?

On the majority of our marquee weddings we have a marquee manager or foreman on site during the event. The person on site will make sure that all the other contractors are OK installing their equipment such as caterers, DJ and band, as they often turn up prior or during the event. The person on site will an keep an eye on the temperature in the marquee and open and close the window walls, as well as making sure the marquee is at a nice temperature if heating is installed.

“The moment we drove up to the grounds of Ragley Hall, I knew this was where I wanted to hold my wedding reception. The stunning scenery, the beautifully decorated rooms, the building itself and the glorious grounds, was just all mesmerising, and did provide an incredible romantic backdrop for our wedding reception. On the actual day, Ragley staff were there to ensure the smooth running of the day, the sun was out, everything was utter perfection. The Ragley Hall suppliers were also excellent, Good Intents marquee team, Bruce and Lucy created the most awesome marquee I’ve ever seen to hold our 350 guests. Kelly&Sati from VogueLuxury Events provided breathtaking top class decor, and Shamim of Five Rivers ran everything like clockwork, not to mention serving exquisite food. I have to also mention out photographer and videographer team, Sadha videos, and DJ RajeevB from Kudos, along with Ivory Keys, and SweetAlchemyWedding Cakes, who all together put the finishing touches to our very special day.
