I’m Carrie, the designer behind Honey Bee Mine. I create everything from your first invitations to the thoughtful details waiting at each guest’s place on your wedding day.
I’m based in Cheshire and work with couples throughout the UK and beyond. With over 20 years of experience in graphic design and art direction, I’ve developed a keen eye for colour, proportion, typography and the smallest details that make a design feel special. I love bringing this perspective to every commission and creating beautiful, distinct visual worlds for my couples.
My work combines expressive design with beautiful materials and tactile finishes. I love textured papers, rich colour, elegant typography and the sense of anticipation that a beautifully made invitation creates. Particularly in today’s digital world, I don’t think you can beat the feeling of receiving something lovingly crafted in your hands.
You can choose from my Signature Collections, which can be adapted through colour, wording and finishing details, or commission something entirely bespoke. A bespoke design might begin with your venue, a favourite flower, a meaningful place, a colour you keep returning to or simply a feeling you want your wedding to have.
I work directly with every couple, guiding you through the design process and helping you decide which pieces will make the greatest difference to your celebration. I also work closely with planners, venues and other creative suppliers, designing stationery that feels at home within the wider look and atmosphere of the day.
Alongside invitations, I create menus, place cards, table plans, welcome signs, orders of service and any other stationery details you have in mind for your wedding day.
Every piece is designed, refined and assembled with care, so that when your stationery arrives, it feels like the beginning of something wonderful.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much should we budget for our stationery?
As a guide, my Signature Collection invitations start from around £957 for 60 suites, which is usually enough for around 100 guests when inviting couples and families together. Bespoke commissions start from around £2,000 for simpler suites, including design and production, with more intricate designs, layered formats and specialist finishes requiring a higher investment. Your final quote will depend on quantities and the pieces, papers and finishes you choose. Wedding-day stationery is quoted separately.
How far in advance should we book?
It’s worth getting in touch once you know your wedding date and have an idea of when you’d like to send your save the dates or invitations. As a guide, allow around four to six weeks for Signature Collection orders and two to four months for bespoke commissions, depending on availability and the complexity of your design. Specialist finishes can take a little longer, so booking ahead gives us more room to explore the details. If your deadline is closer, please ask and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
Can we order wedding-day stationery without ordering invitations?
Absolutely. While I love creating a cohesive stationery collection from the first invitation through to the wedding day, you’re equally welcome to come to me just for your wedding-day pieces. Whether you’re looking for personalised menus and place cards, a table plan and welcome sign, or a more extensive collection, tell me your ideas, guest numbers and wedding date, and I’ll guide you through the options.
Will our invitations arrive fully assembled?
Yes. Your invitations arrive carefully assembled, with your chosen ribbons, layers and finishing details already in place. I’ll explain any final steps for posting your particular suite, so you know exactly what to expect when it arrives.
Can we see samples before deciding?
Yes. You can purchase a Sample Edit from my Signature Collections through my website, giving you the chance to experience the papers, print and finishing details in your hands. It’s a lovely way to get a feel for the quality before choosing your stationery. Each Sample Edit features an existing collection design rather than a personalised proof of your own invitation, and its cost is fully redeemable against a stationery order over £500.
