Hi, I’m James! Your Somerset Wedding Photographer. Let’s create fun, personal and timeless wedding photos together. I am a natural, informal & unobtrusive Somerset wedding photographer that brings both calm and fun on your wedding day. I cover Somerset, the South West of England, and further afield too.

I love people, weddings, photography and travel too! Most importantly, I love to add as much value to each couples booking, making you feel at ease on your wedding day.

Your wedding day is a once in a lifetime event, and your photos need to be right. Booking with me, you’ll receive great photos that are uniquely yours, so that you can hold and cherish them forever, to share with generations to come. By editing your photos to match that of your wedding day flowers, no two weddings I photograph look the same. I don’t conform to Instagram and no two weddings should look the same in my opinion.

By offering a pre-booking consultation and a pre-wedding chat (either in person, or online) one month prior to your special day, I hope this leaves couples with peace of mind that they can relax on their big day.

What areas do you cover and do you travel?

I am based in Somerset, so cover the county, the South West and the rest of the UK. I love to travel so can accommodate your destination wedding too.

How do we book?

Make sure to get in touch and we can get the ball rolling. Even if you only have questions to ask at this point, be sure to get in touch and I will endeavour to answer them for you. I offer a pre-booking consultation where we can get a flavour for each other and to see if the fit is right. If you are happy after this chat, I require a signed contract and 30% of the whole booking fee. Then I am all yours!

Can we meet you before we book?

100% yes. Sometimes this is not possible with distance and therefore we can meet via video call. However, I like to meet couples either at their venue, or for a drink (can be a hot chocolate, or something more exotic) before your big day.

How long will you be there for on our wedding day?

Depending on the package you chose, I can be at your wedding between 4 hours, to full day. For a full day wedding, I usually stay for up to 1 hour after the first dance to get those party photos.

How many photos do you usually send us?

Every wedding is completely different and again this depends on the package you chose. For a full day wedding, you can expect a minimum of 500 photographs.

When will we receive our photos?

So, within 24 hours of your wedding day, you will receive roughly a dozen what I call ‘Hero Shots’ to do away with those post wedding blues. Couples love waking up to these the morning after. With the full album, the lead time is between 4 to 8 weeks. I will not make you wait any longer than this.
