Hi, I’m Nathan Eames, founder of Libra Photographic, a wedding photographer in Dorset, South West UK, covering the entire country, Europe and beyond. My professional journey began in 1999, yes that is the last century. My style blends documentary spontaneity with elegant contemporary posing, to put it simply, candid moments with timeless portraits, have a good look through my Portfolio Making couples feel relaxed and joyful, ensuring authentic capture of their natural moments is a photographer’s true skill, one which I am lucky enough to have. From Dorset’s scenic coasts to the mystical New Forest and the charming counties of Hampshire, Wiltshire, and Devon, every location tells its own story. Nathan was hands down one of the best things about our wedding. He was absolutely wonderful from start to finish- recommending other suppliers to us, being incredibly calming, and even making sure I didn’t keel over from lack of food on the day! We had originally booked a different photographer for our wedding but changed to Nathan after seeing him in action at another wedding we were at! And what a great decision this was! Nathan was great on the day, he made sure he spent enough time to get those photos that you dream of looking back on but a the same time we felt that we had plenty of time with family friends and each other! Nathan was incredible from start to finish, we originally met him at a friend's wedding and when planning knew exactly who we wanted to contact for our special day! He had such a great presence and made taking photos fun and relaxed. We were keen for some natural photos and he captured these perfectly. Nathan is brilliant. We hired him after he did my sisters wedding back in 2021 and did an amazing job. He did a great job for our wedding in every way. The photographs provided were all amazing, and we and our guests loved having him around on the day. He was always in place to get the right shot. He also gave good directions on posing for a photos and was able to make us laugh and relax, which was useful for us as we don't usually pose for photos

Frequently Asked Questions
How long do you stay at a wedding?
This really depends on the time of year but usually between 10 and 12 hours. June & July when the days are long the option to add a few more hours may be neccasary to capture those late summer evenings.
How soon after the wedding will we receive our photographs?
During the height of the wedding season it can take up to 6 weeks to receive your final gallery but there is always a little sneak peek at your photos before the final delivery. I understand that everyone wants to see them and you want to create thankyou cards. I quite often turn around a full gallery in half that time though.
