My process is rooted in an art-led documentary approach and centred entirely around my clients. I take the time to get to know you during the planning process, understand your priorities and what you’re drawn to visually, so that on your wedding day you can be fully present and trust that everything is being documented thoughtfully. I try to embody the phrase, ‘let the wedding happen and the photo’s will come.’

Capturing you as you truly are is at the heart of how I work. For much of the day I won’t interrupt or interfere, allowing moments to unfold naturally. That doesn’t mean I fade into the background though. I immerse myself into your day, connecting with your family and friends so they feel comfortable being themselves when they notice the camera pointing in their direction.

Alongside this documentary approach, I bring a strong artistic eye to how your day is captured, noticing light, texture, movement and atmosphere and using these elements to tell the story of your wedding in a way that feels honest and elevated.

When it comes to portraits, I won’t ever expect you to know what to do. I’ll have some of your favourite music playing (my bluetooth speaker is the most underrated thing in my bag!) and gently guide you through it. Nothing will feel forced or stiff. The focus is always on real moments and connection rather than poses.
