I’m Sus Pons, a wedding photographer based in Menorca, creating images that are raw, unstaged, and artfully honest. My work blends documentary storytelling with a chic, romantic, and editorial sensibility — inspired as much by classical painters and cinema as by real human connection.
For me, photography is not about the camera, but about what it allows me to see: the quiet gestures, the fleeting glances, the beauty of moments unfolding without script. I capture weddings on both film and digital, weaving them together into a timeless narrative that feels intimate yet refined.
Based in the Mediterranean, I work with couples from around the world who are drawn to authenticity, elegance, and a sense of story. Whether it’s a barefoot elopement by the sea or a grand celebration in a historic villa, my approach is always the same: to create images that feel alive, personal, and true to you.

How would you describe your style?
I focus on what feels real and timeless. My work is honest, intuitive, and deeply inspired by art and cinema. I don’t stage perfection. I simply listen, observe, and let beauty appear on its own.
Where are you based and how far do you travel?
I live in Menorca, surrounded by light and sea, but my work takes me across Spain, Europe and beyond. I’m happiest wherever there’s a story to tell, whether on my island or far beyond it.
Do you shoot digital or film?
Both. I love the freedom and precision of digital, but film has a soul of its own. I shoot, develop, scan, and digitize my own film at home, which makes the process deeply personal and gives every image a unique, handcrafted texture. Combining both formats allows me to create a narrative that feels textured, timeless, and alive.
What’s your approach during the wedding day?
I work quietly and without intrusion. I don’t interfere or direct much. I stay close and attentive, letting the day unfold naturally while protecting its authenticity.
What kind of couples connect most with your work?
Couples who value intimacy, presence, and emotion. Those who want images that feel honest and timeless, where the focus isn’t on posing but on what’s real.
Do you work alone or with a team?
Most of the time, I work alone. I believe this allows me to stay fully present and connected with your story. However, for weddings with more than 150 guests, I recommend hiring a second photographer. While they’re not part of my direct team, I collaborate closely with a select group of professional photographers on the island who match my style, energy, and approach. I remain the principal photographer and personally curate, select, and edit every final image to ensure a consistent look and feel.
Do you offer wedding videography?
I focus entirely on photography — it’s where my craft lives. But if you’d like video coverage, I can recommend trusted local videographers whose style and energy align with mine, so the visuals complement each other seamlessly.
